Swimmer Duncan Scott Stands Up For Clean Sport

A brilliant performance from Scottish swimmer Duncan Scott saw him win a bronze medal in the 200m Freestyle at the 2019 World Swimming Championships.

You’ll see 4 people on the podium in this clip because Scott was originally 4th but was promoted to 3rd along with Martin Malyutin when the original first placed swimmer was disqualified for a false start.

It’s the first World Championship medal Scott has won but he refused to take his place on the medal podium and to pose for photos with the eventual winner of the event, choosing instead to stand up for clean sport.

Scott is being praised for his guts and integrity, as well as his world class swim.
